The new Phoenix/Gateway Studio is well established at Pinewood. Dave Ward and Pete Fielder are now concentrating on the education and training plans that were originally intended for Phoenix at Wembley. The first courses will take place in March 2006

We are setting up a new training facility here at Pinewood in association with the Sound Department at Pinewood-Shepperton Studios. The new facility will provide Professional Development Training for Producers, Musicians, Project Studio owners, Industry Administration Staff, Teachers, Lecturers and Educational Support Staff.

There will also be "personal development" courses designed for individuals or organisations in the industry There will be stress management courses and other training related to communication and negotiation skills. There will be a series of master-classes taught by leading industry professionals who have dedicated themselves to exploring the best ways of passing on their experience and knowledge.

Course are being designed in partnership with main industry organisations such as BKSTS, APRS, MPG, The Production Guild and other training providers like The Integrated Systems Organisation (ISO).

The new Facility known as the Pinewood International Training Centre will also host a series of courses and master classes for Lecturers and Teachers working in the areas of Sound and Music Technology.

We are also setting up an educational consultancy to help with curriculum and teaching facility design. Gateway and Phoenix staff are currently working on a pioneering series of educational support materials for lecturers and students which will be available later in 2006. These materials will be integrated into all Gatewaypdt course materials and will be available for use by teachers and lecturers after the courses.

In the meantime here are details of courses planned for musicians, studio, post pro and manufacturers staff.   These courses will be repeated over the next few months.
