David Ward

David has spent a lifetime in the Music Industry, as a club and concert promoter, 12 years as a professional singer and 25 years as a recording studio owner/manager/sound engineer, some of these concurrently. For the last 15 years David has been teaching sound recording and allied subjects, and directing the Gateway School of Recording, Music Technology and Music Business Studies of which he is the founder. Gateway pioneered training and education in the fields of Music Technology.   David is also the founder and owner of Gateway Studio now in partnership with Phoenix Sound situated at the Pinewood film studios.
